Here they are!

Ben liked this picture because it shows Twin B flexing like a body builder!

So, per the last picture, we are FOR SURE having twin boys (sorry if the picture offended anybody)!!!!!!  They were not shy at all!  We were very surprised, again, to say the least.  We both thought for sure we were having either twin girls or one of each, but not two boys.  We are excited though.  We had girl names all picked out but no boy names.  And now we have to think of two.  The ultrasound went well.  Babies are healthy and growing well.  They have all their body parts and both weigh almost 1 pound each.  Twin B is a little smaller than Twin A, but not by much.  I read on babycenter.com that a singleton baby should weigh (at 21 weeks) about 3/4 a pound, so compared to THAT, my baby boys are growing REALLY well!  I know we're going to have our hands full, but I know the Lord would not have given us these boys if He didn't think we could handle it.  So that's it.  We're having boys!!!!!!!!!

It was really cute, on our way home from picking Lilli up at some friends', we told her she was having baby brothers.  Well, a little later, she got fussy and wanted to hold her baby brothers.  She was crying for them and wanting to hold them now!  It was funny!

Also, totally random and has nothing to do with the twins, but this morning I was cooking some eggs and when I flipped them over, they seriously started cheeping like little chicks.  It kind of freaked me out!

The verdict is in but... `

I'm not going to post what we're having until I have some of the sonogram pictures up.  Sorry!!! I promise I'll try to get those up tomorrow.  So, until then... keep on guessing!

Tomorrow's the day!!!

So tomorrow we find out what we're having and I'm very very very excited!!!  I told Ben that it feels like Christmas!  I really hope they can tell us what we're having.

My dr appointment went good I guess.  I didn't get to see my actual doctor, but I saw the doctor that my previous doctor had recommended (Her name is Dr. Rahimi).  So now I'm going to just keep seeing her I think.  Anyway, the babies are now feet down, head up, instead of sideways.  They keep pushing on all my vital organs and it's kind of hurting.  But they're otherwise doing good.  Heartbeats are good for both.  Now I'm just waiting for tomorrow.  Yea!!!!  I'll be sure to post!

Twinners Update

Another post.  Just an update on how the twins are doing.  I have a Dr appointment on Monday, but just thought I'd update ya'll anyway.  I've been able to feel the twins move since I found out we were having twins, but it felt more like butterflies in my stomach.  Now, they're making their presence well known thinking it fun to punch my belly.  Ben's been able to feel them and that's been fun.  It's still slight movements, but I can really feel them better now.  One will be pushing or punching me on one side, while the other is doing it on the other side.  Little stinkers!  It's so fun though.  I can't wait till I can really feel them, and have Lilli feel.  I've been feeling pretty good, until the last couple of days.  I was dumb and forgot to renew my prescription for my Zofran (anti-nausea, vomiting med) and only had ONE pill left.  I had to save it for Sunday, but am going Monday to pick up my prescription.  I didn't realize how much I really do need the Zofran.  Thank goodness for it!  I've grown quite attached to these little twinners and am so excited to meet them!  Scared, but excited!  Thank you to all of you for your support.  We find out what we're having, hopefully, this coming Friday.  I'll post then, if they can tell us!

Staff Promotions

I should really let Ben post this one, since it is about him.  Wednesday, we found out, after waiting 2 months, that Ben was promoted to Staff Seargent!  He took the test in June and have been anxiously awaiting.  I'm so proud of him and all his accomplishments.  He definitely deserves this!  He studied hard.  It couldn't have come at a better time, with the twins and everything.  He works so hard and is such a great provider for his family!  I'm sure he'll post later, but I just want all of you AND him to know how very proud I am of my super awesome, super hot husband!!!!  You deserve this, Ben!!!  Lilli and I love you so much!  Thank you for all you do for our family!

Miss Independent

Lilli has really been independent lately and picking out what she wants to wear.  She changes clothes about 5 times a day.  I was down in the kitchen and she comes in dressed like this!  She has on her little panties that match one of her dresses, plus her shirt on backwards and my headband on.  She was so proud of herself as you can see from her big huge grin!

Savannah, Georgia

This building was built from whatever stones or brick they had.  Thus all the different textures and colors.  It's a really old building turned restaurant called Charter House.

This is me at the end of the day.  My feet and back hurt so bad I wanted to cry.

The Deen Brothers: Jamie, Me, Ben, and Bobby. Ben said I was nuzzled a little too close to Jamie.  Why not?

The Waving Girl Statue

My big belly....not sure if it's from the twins or from the food!

Ummm...seriously!  I don't think those little gators could even do anything to me if I fell in, they were so little, but I didn't want to find out.

It's been a while since we've blogged, so this may be a fairly long blog.  Sorry.  Lots of pictures though.  So this last Monday and Tuesday, Ben and I were able to drive down to Savannah and spend the night, just us.........alone.........without Lilli.  My good friend Rachel (Thanks Rach!) offered to watch Lilli for us overnight so we took advantage and made the drive.  It actually wasn't too bad of a drive.  I drove it, because Ben had to work the night before so he was up ALL night then didn't get to go to sleep the next morning due to a mandatory dentist appointment.  So he'd been up for over 24 hours!  Poor guy!  Anyway, I drove down there.  It only took us about 2.5 hours.  We both thought it'd take longer, but nope.  So we got to our bed and breakfast (I've never stayed in one before) that was in the downtown historic district.  It was pretty cool.  We stayed in the "Blue Cottage."  So we were off out behind the main building.  We got checked around 4:30pm and decided to drive 30 minutes to Tibey Island to a crab shack called,  what else, The Crab Shack.  We got a platter meal for 2, but it could have fed about 8 people.  There was a ton of food.  They had shrimp, muscles, red potatoes, crawfish, snow crab, stone crab, sausage, corn, and I think that's all.  I wish we had taken a picture.  But guess what!!!  When you combine a pregnant lady with twins and a big guy who hasn't eaten in 24 hours, you got two large empty stomachs!  Seriously, we finished almost that whole thing.  You can see my huge big belly in the one picture from the side.  I know it's the twins making me that big, but the food probably added to it.  It was such good sea food.  We got back to our B&B and decided to call it a night and just get up early the next morning.  Ben fell asleep immediately.  I was kind of scared that our room was haunted so it took me a while to fall asleep.  It wasn't haunted, by the way.  Also, our bed was really hard so I was tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable.  Let's just say that I didn't get a whole lot of sleep.  Day 2 started off okay.  We went and ate (I was disappointed with the AMOUNT of food) blueberry pancakes and 2 links of sausages.  We met a couple of nice ladies who helped us get reservations at Paula Deen's restaurant The Lady and Sons.  Then we got on a trolley that took you all over the historic district.  We didn't stop at anything but the City Market, it was closest to the restaurant.  We'll definitely have to go back and see ALL the sites.  We checked out City Market then went to Paula Deen's store and saw her two sons, Jamie and Bobby.  After getting pictures, we went and ate and The Lady and Sons.  It was worth it to eat there once, but I think that once was a enough.  The food is VERY southern and VERY fattening, but VERY good.  After eating we went and got some gelato then went down to the River and stopped at some shops there.  By the end of the day, I was ready to get home and see Lilli plus my feet and back were killing me.  So we got back to our car and headed home.  We had a lot of fun and will definitely go back.  Rachel said that Lilli did really good, except after laying Lilli down for the night, Lilli was crying and saying, "I miss you guys!" like she was talking to Ben and I.  I had to laugh.  Thanks again Rachel!  We definitely needed some time just us!

Twinners

So, here's a sonogram photo from a few weeks ago. I finally got around to scanning and uploading it tonight. I don't know about you, but I never could see anything in these photos until I saw Lilli's first sonogram. Then, magically, it all just came into focus. Before that, it was like trying to figure out one of those psychedelic 3D posters... I never could see those dad-gum dolphins! Anyway, on the left-hand side you see twin #1 with head pointing to the left. On the right-hand side, if you look closely, you can see the little hand of twin #2 extended as if to scratch the bum of #1. Be sure and vote and let us know what you think we might be having (Not that it will change anything, though, right?)!!!

I'm a big girl now

Lilli is now out of a crib, and into a big girl bed.  It was definitely time, with the twins coming and she's just getting too big.  She's done really well with it.  The first morning, she came down at around 7am into our bedroom and tells us to "wape back" or wake up.  Sometimes she'll get out of her bed and open the door, but as soon as we tell her to get back into bed, she does and we have no problems.  She's only fallen off the bed a couple of times, but we make sure to put a big pillow on the edge so she can't roll off.  It seems to help.  Now she just kicks the wall.  We started potty training her, and she did really really good.  No accidents.  But then she got some sort of infection or UTI so the doctor recommended we wait on it.  I so want to start back up.  She takes off her diaper all the time and she tells us when she has to go, so we'll put her on the toilet and sure enough, she'll go.  Obviously she's ready, I just don't want her to get another infection.  She was crying and saying "it hurts."  I felt really bad.  She seems to be doing better, so we'll start again here soon.  I just can't believe what a big girl she's becoming.  She is really really bossy.  She'll boss Ben and I around too.  We're putting a stop to that REAL fast.  She adjusts so well to changes and we're so proud of her!

Mommy, Daddy, look!

Those are never words a parent wants to hear.  The other day, I had left Lilli in her booster seat while she ate some applesauce.  Ben and I were sitting in the living room, when we here her say, "Mommy, Daddy, Look!" and she comes in with a big grin on her face looking like this...........I couldn't help but laugh.  She acted SO proud of herself.  It really was quite hilarious!  That's our little girl!
